Domaine Serene

Dayton, OR

Wedding Videography at Domaine Serene

Domaine Serene stands on a hilltop in the Dundee Hills above Dayton, where its estate vineyards command some of the most celebrated views in all of Oregon wine country. The winery's French-inspired architecture, symmetrical facades, stone terraces, and formal landscaping give the property a grandeur that is rare in the Pacific Northwest. For wedding cinematography, the combination of elevated vineyard panoramas and deliberate architectural elegance at Domaine Serene produces imagery with a quality more commonly associated with the great estates of Burgundy than with the American Northwest.

The hilltop position of Domaine Serene means that light arrives and departs with a drama that lower-elevation venues cannot replicate. Morning ceremonies catch the first light as it clears the Cascade foothills to the east, filling the vineyard in cool, directional illumination. By late afternoon, the Dundee Hills catch the descending sun from the west and the vineyard glows with the warm, saturated light that Oregon wine country is celebrated for in the wedding film community. A wedding videographer working at Domaine Serene across a full day has access to two entirely different registers of light, both extraordinary.

The estate's interior spaces are among the finest in Oregon for reception wedding film coverage, with vaulted ceilings, stone floors, and the warm amber of aged wine barrels providing a backdrop that is both luxurious and deeply rooted in the land. Film House Weddings is a huge fan of Domaine Serene and would be honored to capture your celebration here, where Oregon wine country reveals its most elevated and cinematic face.

What makes Domaine Serene special for wedding film?

Domaine Serene sits atop the Dundee Hills with French-inspired symmetrical facades, stone terraces, and formal landscaping that give wedding cinematography a Burgundy-estate grandeur rare in the Pacific Northwest. How much does a luxury wedding videographer cost at Domaine Serene?

Every Film House Weddings package is custom built for the couple, the venue, and the wedding day. Reach out through our Connect page and we will build a proposal tailored to your wedding.

How far in advance should we book?

We recommend 9 to 18 months for peak season (May through October).

What is included in a wedding film package?

We build a custom package for every couple based on your vision and your wedding day. Typically, every client receives a 5 to 7 minute cinematic wedding film and a reel. Our team works directly with your planner and photographer to ensure seamless coverage from getting ready through the last dance.

Do you work with our photographer and wedding planner?

Absolutely. Coordination with your vendor team is a core part of our process. We work directly with your planner and photographer before and during the wedding day to make sure everyone is in sync and no moment is missed.

Do you offer drone videography?

Yes. Drone coverage is available as an add-on, coordinated with local airspace rules and any venue restrictions.

How long until we receive our wedding film?

Delivery timelines are discussed during the proposal stage and depend on the season and edit scope. Expedited delivery is available if you need your film sooner. Let us know during the booking conversation and we will build a timeline that works for you. Final films are delivered digitally via a private link.

Do you provide raw footage?

Raw footage is available on request as an add-on. Most couples do not request it, since our edited cinematic film, reel, and optional full ceremony and speeches edit capture everything that matters. If raw footage is important to you, let us know during the proposal conversation and we will include it in your custom package.

Will you provide a second shooter?

Our standard package is filmed by a two-person team. Additional shooters are available as an add-on.
